Step 1 of 2

Each person’s body processes food and produces energy in a unique way based on their individual biology, nervous system activity, and metabolic chemistry. Because of these differences, the same diet or nutrition plan will not work equally well for everyone.
Metabolic typing helps identify the balance of nutrients, particularly proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, that best supports an individual’s energy production, blood sugar stability, and overall wellbeing. Some people function best with higher protein and fat intake, while others thrive on a higher proportion of carbohydrates. The goal is to match nutrition to a person’s metabolic tendencies so the body can operate more efficiently.
Metabolism is influenced by both physiology and psychology, meaning stress, emotional patterns, lifestyle habits, and nervous system balance all play a role in how the body processes food. Metabolic typing is not only about diet but about understanding the deeper mind-body relationship that affects health, energy, and weight regulation.
The overall purpose of metabolic typing is to move away from one-size-fits-all nutrition advice and instead guide individuals toward a way of eating that supports their unique biological and psychological needs.
